World No 2 Daniil Medvedev has won the US Open after a 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 win over win over world No 1 Novak Djokovic.
It was Medvedev’s first major title and he denied Djokovic from achieving the calendar Grand Slam of winning all four slams in one year.
In case you’re wondering what racquet the Russian uses, Tennis Opinion Worldwide has you covered.
Medvedev endorses the Tecnifibre Tfight RS 305 racquet.
However, as is the case with most tennis pros, his racquet is not the one you can buy in shops but a customized version more similar to the Tecnifibre Dynacore 305.
He uses a 95 square inch frame – instead of the Tfight’s 98 square inches – and it’s 27 inches long.
The racquet is marketed as weighing 312 grams but it is believed Medvedev customizes his one to weigh close to 360 grams.
The racquet has an all-round beam width of 22mm.
Medvedev’s racquet is an 18×19 string pattern and he uses Technifibre Razor Code strings.
